Lent 5 – Sacred Spaces

We’ve been thinking about the rhythms of our lives, and we’ve talked about setting aside time, but we can also set aside place.

George Lings, director of the Church Army’s Research Unit, has spent a fair amount of time visiting and studying monasteries, and believes that they all have seven sacred spaces.

Sacred spaces doesn’t need to be confined to religious buildings, so perhaps we can find room for these spaces in our own lives.
